Bridal from Hatta Dolmat

We , or rather 'I', first saw these look on Ayu, Tomok's bride during her akad nikah ceremony. Hatta then design for Faezah Elai's wedding. Memey's wedding dress also reeks the same design. Yes I know the looks are fully embelished and not everyone can carry this off, but its a sheer feast to one's eye - that's for sure. Plus, not everydays' your wedding, rite?

Bad Teacher vs Friends with Benefits

I’ve managed to watch JT’s Friends With Benefits last weekend and Bad Teacher the week before. This is 2 movies that you should take some time to go see. If you are still not sure, here’s 3 reasons (each) why you should:

BAD TEACHER

1. Cameron D is hilarious and played her character perfectly!
2. The storyline’s clever with a dash of romance towards the end.
3. JT, though playing a small part, is downright believable.

FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS

1. Clever lines3x
2. No pairing can compare to the one with both JT n Mila Kunis. Ka ba boom!!!
3. JT is half naked most of the time (?!)

Karipap Karipap Cinta VS Hantu Bonceng

Ok. Nampaknya ada perdebatan antara mana lagi best, Hantu Bonceng (HB) atau Karipap2 Cinta (K2C).

Ini ulasan aku.

Jalan Cerita

K2C menang. Kalu ikut yang mudah dinilai, sekurang2nya K2C betul2 cuba meilibatkn karipap dlm jalan ceritanya sedangkan HB, separuh jln jadi Hantu Kangkang n pengakhirannya, adik dia yg hantu (sebenarnya)!

Skrip

Walaupun K2C variasi dialognya, cubaan HB ntok memperkenalkan bahasa rempit dilihat lebih prominent.

Kostum/ Solekan

HB la menang, sebab make-up hantu jadi, make up plakon pun x over n baju2 yang di pakai Jue Aziz mmg terserlah kelainannya dengan taim kerje as nurse, sesswai dgn karakter. K2C plak menampilkan lepasan Al Azhar, top 10 best student yg hanya memakai selendang, x logik! N sapa la make up mata minah tuh sampai nampak mcm juling?! Mata kecik, x pyh la nk boh eye linear tebal, nampak lagi sepet. Rambut Gambit yang messy jugak kadang2 mnyukarkan beliau utk menunjukkan emosi di wajah yang sering terlindung di balik rambut beliau yg kucar kacir dan shot2 close up tambah tidak membantu.

Sinematografi

K2C lebih banyak lokasi dan pandai bermain dengan kesan lampu. Especially part pembukaan di lorong sunyi menghala ke kg, nampak mcm citer hantu a… HB asyek shoot tempat yang sama… tapi trick kameraman handle Zizan bogel dlm 2 scene dlm movie tuh agak clever la.

Lakonan

Zizan memang lawak tapi karakter beliau lebih diovershadow dgn si Kunyit yang bising. Gambit punya potensi cuma mungkin pengarah tidak menggunakan beliau dgn sebaiknya. Jue Aziz tak kaku jad watak minah rempit dan minah pendatang baru K2C perlu lebih belajar, stop melirik mata boleh x, annoying! So, pelakon utama laki K2C menang, plakon utama pompuan HB yg menang. Best ensamble? Rasanya watak2 pembantu HB lebih menyerlah dan tidak dibuat2, especially Dottie, makwe abg Jue dan Cat sbg Ustaz. Watak2 pembantu dlm K2C seperti sengaja di jadikan pelbagai bangsa utk menepati tema 1Malaysia. Sedangkan bangsa mereka itu sendiri tdk membantu jln cerita kerana kalau anda ganti mereka dgn bangsa2 lain pun, takde kesan pun yang berbeza.

All in all, HB n K2C bukanlah filem b’kualiti yang perlu anda tonton dan hayati, cuma hiburan ringan di kala anda tak de kerja nak isi masa yang berbaki.
