While we are still recovering from your boring choice, n maybe you just want us to leave this 2009 look behind:
You make us sat on the fence with this outing in Feb 2011:
but when you came out last nite, looking like this, really?!
I guess what's left 4 Leona Lewis here is just to repeat that song of yours n just get better in time!

Home is where the HEART is, is it?!
What is a home 2 you?
This VC from Aizat (let me put it on record that I dislike him, tapi lagu yg bagus still deserve a recognition) shares his view (n some random ppl) on how they define what a home is.
Katanya tajuk diambil daripada tempat tinggal kawannya yg begitu bangga dgn rumahnya di situ. Kalau nk tau lebih lanjut pasal tempat tuh, baca link nih.
Over my ___years of life (blank 4 u 2 guess, clue, this Saturday... he he he), I’ve my fair share of home/ houses:
Kedah Medical Center
This is where I was born, in AS (not America, occay, Aloq Setaq). During my recent trip there, my father told me that the hospital had a total new updo and even the wing for my wad bersalin is no longer there. Hey, who am I 2 argue? I know squat at that time, to refute. Alhamdulillah, being a late joy to my parents (I hope they feel the same too), 7 yrs apart from my brother, my father had enough $ to bring my mom to a private hospital (org cakap ank bongsu spoiled, what to do, time kitaorg dtg slalunya ekonomi parents dh stabil, x mcm ank sulung, rumahtangga baru dok honeymoon, keje pun bru nk naik).
Jalan Pegawai
I was too little to remember, but this LHDN quarters was my first humble abode (near Maktab Mahmud). Yg best kt blkg ada supermarket, just a walk away. Ingat sekali I cried at the stairs (wailing sebenarnya) sbb jumpa wanita b’purdah, all black. Scary, man at that time. Yela, time tuh rata2 rmbut Farah Fawcett, ustzh pun ikat skaf kt blkg jer.
Permatang Tinggi B’
This is my current, n I hope in years 2 come, my home. The house was modeled using a house belonging to my mother’s friend. So, if you end up in AS, maybe u can spot her twins, if ur lucky. But don’t ask me to show u, coz I also don’t know where! The architect for our home was a foreigner, but the contractors were Msian (time ni the word, PATI belum masuk Kamus Dewan lagi) so being Msian, they did a few mistakes ending up that the house came out different from the initial blue print. Tapi x pe, it was a big enough space for us five. With its high ceiling, U can even spot the roof if you are on the bridge on PLUS passing thru the Taman Bertam, enroute to Sg Petani.
Irshad, Pokok Sena
This was a home away from. 2 busses away to be definite. Just to continue my sister n brother’s legacy, I pun masuk sekolah ni. This is where I learnt to know myself and the school taught me a lot of things. Be it good or bad, the experience enriched me, as a person. N I’m thankful that my parents decided to send me to a religious school, as I hope other parents will do, sebab how bad you will be, if you have the basic, you will never astray far away n will one day return to this root, if ever. At least that is what I believe in.
SMAP Kajang, Kajang
It was a hard decision for me to join the school due 2 the distance and compared to KISAS and SMAP Labu, no one (sekurang2nya yg close to me) knew that this school ever existed! I learn the word hate, like and love here. Being a newbie is hard, but I really thanked a bunch of people who held my hands all through and having survived that, I am not shocked that our friendship lasted till this day. Some of the experience did leave some scars on me, but no hero comes out from a battle clean kan? (with the exception of the Hindi and Tamil warriors, now replicated by the Americans)
UIA, PJ n Gombak
This was another home that I will always held dear to my heart. Hell man, I got a degree out of staying here. I’ve tried out all kolej penginapan in PJ and stayed in Mahallah Ali in Gombak campus. I gained a lot here - friends, experiences n knowledge. Super like. N rasa nyesal x enjoy abes2 bila start the mundane days of work (bluek!)
Taman Melati
I got this house even before the finals exam result out, as me n my friends have secured a chambering spot in a firm in KL. An entry was posted dedicated to this house. I like the place, though a bit dammed, it was near the mosque n LRT station. Five years after staying there and through a process of changes in housemates, we decided to move out.
Bndr Teknologi Kajang
Staying wif my sis in the interim was heaven. Cooked meals, laundry done and folded and comfortable bed to sleep in. Yet, I still longed for freedom! (jiwa remaja la katakan)
Mutiara Damansara
This is our first month staying there and last nite was the 1st nite sleeping in it (sleepless nite 2 be exact). I was only able to move in last weekend due to the nonsense schedule I had. Yup, it is an uplift from the black-dengue-proned Gombak area, but a house is still a house wherever it is. I remembered that the 1st nite we spend in Taman Melati, we had dinner at a sidewalk warong, penniless and eager for experience in the working life. Last nite, my dinner was at the Curve, that alone is a major step up. Indeed, I’m eager to see what the future holds and wish for the best.
Where shall I go from here then? Only time will tell.
So, what is a home to me? It’s just a shelter from the rain, a place to loosen up and a point of return before everyone goes back to that eternal home, the ultimate resting place.
Jadinya, di mana pun anda berada, jom syukuri nikmat dijauhkan dari hujan, dilindungi dari panas mentari (dan a dip in that cooling pool), berbanding mereka yang bom dan mortar menjadi loceng penggera bangun di tengah mlm, kotak tv alas hamparan lelap dan sekadar bulan bintang sebagai siling dan lampu di kala malam.

rhytidectomy/ facelift
Yay! Finally belajar macamana nk make this blog more personalize dgn belajar mcm mana nk upload banner sendiri n tukau2 kaler n font sana sini. Tapi sorila, banner guna Microsoft Paint ja buat, so kualiti kurang memuaskan. It has everthing I love, from Valentino to my nieces, from a bowl of yong tau fu to the wonderful Euro Asia Istanbul and yup, a movie reel showcasing the opera of life (hidup ini bagaikn sebuah pentas, kan, utk sebuah opera yang diharap pecah panggung!).
With the ‘facelift’ given, hope this will spark more enthusiasm in posting in the new future (dh brapa entry ckp mcm ni, tapi last2, non ado!).
Meminjam perkataan secara technical, so what’s actually ‘rhytidectomy’ (atau kita org2 biasa cakap facelift)? Wiki defines it as follows:
A facelift, technically known as a rhytidectomy (literally, surgical removal of wrinkles), is a type of cosmetic surgery procedure used to give a more youthful appearance.
Read more here, occay (membaca gedung ilmu tau!).
The world famous facelifter (is there such a word?) is definitely the adorable Granny Joan Rivers who’s witty n hilarious both in channel E!’s Fashion Police and in life in general. Though now aged 78 yrs old (born June 8, 1933), Joan has the energy of a young gal (with a face like that, who won’t?). Agaknya nanti kita umo 78, cmner la ek?
So, walaupun dh hampir genap 3 bulan kita masuk tahun 2011, what facelift(s) have you done? Shed that tinggly lemak? Sign-up (out) of gym? Travel to an exotic destination? Or just simply change your wardrobe, from a hipster to an ol’ lad (sesuai dgn peningkatan usia katanya)?
It’s fun to have u’r own facelift, technically speaking, once in a while. Just a jolt to boost up the everyday life! Selamat mencuba!

COME WHAT MAY (Official Song IIUM CONVEST 2004)
Kawan saya dari Sabah yang suka lukis gajah, pindah ke Jeddah (ya ka?) mimpi nyanyi lagu ni balik bah! He he he
BTW, nama dia Pah!
Ok, saya sebenarnya rasa lagu ni satu accomplishment. Napa, a tone deaf person mcm saya ni boleh buat lagu n lirik ni! So, unbelievable (shout dgn pitch yg lebih tinggi dr ayt sebelum)! Rahmat tuhan, siapa yg tahukan. Siap ada BM, Eng n Lughah Arabiah lagi dlm liriknya.
Yar yar, that’s partly true, sebenarnya (now rasa malu with the self glorification). I did hum the tune, make up the lyrics. But it was Sepu n Dr Ihab who parlayed their vocal making the song memorable, Nader (yang multi talented, tapi mmg malu nk tunjuk, aku x tau pasai pa) yang susun choir background lepas puas dipaksa n back up vocals yg mewarnakan lagu tuh, Rusdi, Gee, Jah, Halim, Daus Saidi n ramai2 lagi (yg x ingt nk sebut). N x dilupa, Sheq yg bwk ‘demo tape’ bagi dkt kwn dia Bob soh wt melodi. Paling menakjubkn juga, semestinya org2 yg membeli cd2 lagu tersebut! Wow (sebut sama mcm Tok Pah time nyanyi Bunga2 Cinta)!
Special thanks also to CONVEST 04 Management Team yg luluskan lagu ni n the benefactor, Dr Ihab (peminat tegar Siti tuh) for funding the recording.
Idea awal timbul sbb nk cipta kelaianan utk CONVEST, tuh jerw. X sgka the project blew out big, unexpectedly, siap rakam kt studio lagi tuh n buat CD ntok jual.
So, enjoy the song. Ada lirik sikit kt bawah tuh (curik dr blog Dr Ihab).

Frankly semua word file, logo file dh tah mana pg. Its been 7 years kowt. Gambo2 yg ada berbaki, dicampak je masuk dlm video nih...
Enjoice!

Pleas ADD/ APPROVE/ BEFRIEND Your Boss on FB!

Ya, everyone has a Facebook account, n yes, that includes our boss(es)!
Some bosess are cool, hip and happening, some idolizes Hitler 2 much, so much so, his/ her ‘director’ job title should just simply be pronounced as dictator!
Whatever category your boss falls in, the question remain. Should you add them to your personal FB account? Or worst, should you confirm than as your friend? The second is worst coz your boss already realized your existence in the FB realm and might at any place, any time pops up the question (read as before start meeting dpn bos2 yg lain) ‘Napa u x confirm fren request I lagi, ha?!’ At least if it’s the first case, you and your boss can just play pretend and switch the in-denial mode, ‘FB, what?!’, ‘Only losers open an FB account, k’.
I did some research and by research I mean ‘google’, and most people opined that it’s a wacky/ crazy/ out of this world (you choose) idea to have your boss in your fren’s list. None supported the idea. Maybe this incident further supports the idea.

A wise Alexis (female for Alex, I assume) bashed her boss forgetting that she has him already in her list, leading to him reacting (firing) through the comment posted.
I once listened to a radio ad saying that it’s a scary thing to have your parents in your FB fren list. This is acceptable considering many people lead different lives (dpn parent pijak semut pun x penyek, let alone die). Well, I’ve my sister and brother in my account (feeling safe coz they are not so active ) and I won’t hesitate to add my Mama n Abah if they have an account (cakap dgn nada konfiden sbb diorg mmg x terar bab2 IT).
So, coming back to the topic, YES please add/ approve them ONLY if:
1. You want to build a story, to support your EL story… ‘Anak ni sakit x sehat2, dh brapa hari dh’ as your status with follow up sms ‘Bos, I nk EL arini, bawak anak p klinik’.
2. You’ve pasted a mental post-it note on your forehead to remind you not to vent any anger on your boss/ office or update anything that can affect him/ her or your position as an over achiever in the company.
3. You are ready to untag and remove your cool and partying pictures and replace them with decent tawaddu’ pictures
4. You are very rajin to block him from seeing your update (status, pics etc) and unblock it from time to time, swiftly I may add, to make sure he doesn’t notice what is really happening to you.
And last but not least,
5. You aim at leaving your FB account and move your social networking life to other medium, Twitter for eg.
With that, I wish you the best of luck.
p/s: Writing (babbling) is easier than doing (things)! Napa, I find it very susah nk click butang approve fren request nih?! He he he
