This is one malay (animated) movie I don't have any problems promoting. Mmg best! Wlupun aku menjangkakn its gonna be a light and warm hearted kind a movie, it exceeds that. Though the storyline's not so novel, the script need tightenin' n upin & ipin's character (which 2 me, is the main attraction) were a bit sidelined... this is a movie (definitely) worth watching! kind a miss kawan2 upin n ipin yg lain2 though. Wlupun dh 3 minggu, it still strong among the moviegoers. Smlm kt Pav, siap panggung besaq lagi!

U'r one heck of a fashion wildcard Tomei... Innocently enuff, u've created a thin line between worst dressed and safe bets. U'r oscar dress just doesn't have enough sizzled to catapult u out. better luck next time!

As the awards season wrapped up, lets trail this 2 boring starlet who chose to put people to sleep with their choices than to bedazzled.

The first case in hand, Miss Jolie. What dull and bleak ensembles all season long! What's the use of turning u'rself into a walking skeleton then picked out dresses that do no justice to your figure!? Too plain... Don't just think that u'll get away with anything just by having Pitt in u'r arms!

Second is Mrs Mendes aka Kate Winslet. Sorry, how tight u'r dresses are, how smokin' u'r body is, u looked matronly to me! With the same silhouette and (almost) same hairstyle, u bore us to death! N I'm putting u'r oscars dress under worst category. Even Project Runaway contestant could whipped up something more gorgeous than u'r picks in their 3 day challenge!

It was the best oscars produced! Loving the part where past oscar winners came out to introduce the nominees and how modest Jackman handled the show. Tina, Martin and Stiller were hilarious and SJP and Craig made a powerful presenter combo! Still confused why such grandeur celebration for Slumdog?! Kate, u'r waits ended tonite.
Red carpet was nothing to shout about. But some amazed and dazzled more than others! Miley, kudos for the splendid choice, Tidla , we love it no matter what people thinks,and Taraji, u're smoking!!!

Come this 22nd Feb, tv land will be hit with the mothers of all red carpets, the shiny golden men oscars! to pay homage, lets track down a few of past red carpet head turning moments that spur dozen of worshippers and hatters and mold each fashionistas into their own right, a fashion critique!

Halle - who can forget this Elli Saab (picture - dress worn during the runaway) which refreshes the oscars and gave new meaning to its red carpet.

Theron - everyone had a love hate relationship with this Galliano. However it goes, Theron is a pro, as far as red carpet goes, even with this sting. Lurve it though!

J. Roberts - with Ben clad to her arms and a dress made only for standing (not walking or even climbing stairs) J. Roberts managed to delete the idea of her free spirited fashions of no shaved arm pits into an amzing myriad of black n whites in this Valentino!

Kiera - though you didn't go home with any baldies, u are an already winner with that Vera sistas!

J. Lo - a statement emulating that even closed up (as opposed to her double tape versace at the grammys) in this Valentino, she's still a hottie!

Swank - a nice comeback, really!

Gwnenyth - a vision of heavenly angle in Ralph Lauren.

Cher and her Mckies - add spices to the award shows.

Bjork - u just love her for her boldness and awe inspiring image. Fashion literally stood still when she arrived that day.

Michelle - with Heath in her arms, Michelle was a red carpet darling all year round that year. Kudos again to Vera.

Diaz - flexing how to rock prints at the red carpets...

Cate - stunning3x!

this is 1 Malay muvi dat I hope I could catch at the panggung, but thanks to the belives that all malay muvi sucks (evident by nader's latest watching of maut and shukor's sifu & tongga), no1 wants to watch it wif me... alas, several months passed, jumpa cd bru bley tgk.

citer nih mmg tak kesiankn those yg x tgk (tv)series sbb mmg dia picked up where the series left. to me, its just the series bring brought to layar lebar, production-wise, mcm nk tyg kt tv ja! storyline dh ok, casts pun dh ok... tp script, disjointed sgt! kelemahan dr series yg no one bothered to picked up/ look at. but kami is a fun watch, compared to filem sosial remaja lain yg konon2 nk bg pengajaran dkt org (read as anak halal).

wished dat next time muvi makers will xplore lives of remaja yg kuat agamanya, ada wawasan dlm hidup, n social deviant free. asyek2 yg the opposite jer...

as usual, this year's event turn out to be (as expected) buhrring! with performances (by who?!) and singing (what?!) that rock u to sleep... n no beyonce?! huh! what's duffy n leona doing there if not to sing?! oddly enuf the followings amazed me at the red carpet. paula, a great try to swoosh u'r way from the worst dressed list, kim k way to diverge the attention to the usual attention n perry, isn't that 2 couturish 4 u?

sabtu yg BOHSAN

semuanya bermula dengan nader’s attempt untuk (konon2) ‘melayan kebosanan sabtu’ aku kerana 4 hari b’cuti dan dia yg t’tiber nk jd adventurous! Nota: penulis bercuti dari hari jumaat (saja amek cuti) hingga isnin (thaipusam)

Hari sabtu yg bosan bermula seawal Jumaat mlm! Sedang aku asyek menonton revolutionary road (persembahan reunion kate winslet n leo dicaprio yang mantap, eventhough storyline mcm Rashid sibir pun can do better) mawi ckp nak dtg umah lepak. Aku ok jer... Dalam kul 10pm dia sampai, terus lepak2 kedai anney mkn kuey tow sup and sup cendawan... Seterusnya bergerak ke uptown danau kota... Jln2 di wktu mlm menikmati pemandangan. Mawi la nak p sgt, x penah p katanya!!! Dengan dihiburkan artis amatur di pentas karaoke (u can do better V!), kami melilau lilau jalan smbil makan kopok leko... Sebelum balik, sempat lepak mamak sambil makan roti tisu and grilled chicken wings! 2.30am smpi umah and tido. Mawi x tau la buat apa dgn internet smpi kul 4! Dahla sblum blk ada hati nak ajk aku p downtown velodrom cheras lagi!

Esok pagi lepas breakfast yong tau fu, roti kaya dengan ayaq hot chocolate, sabtu yang buhsan betul2 bermula! First stop, gsc pavilion. Tgk pink panther 2. Ntah papa ja, dengan aishu jd t’lebey gelap (atau mmg kamera bollywood pandai ‘memutihkn’ artes2 diorg bak kata mawi) n babak2/ watak2 meleret yang tak perlu ada pun x pa. Kebodohoh Insp. Jacques Clouseau berterusan, tapi kearah yg worst! PP1 lg best la. Caramel popcorn yang dibeli pun x abes dek buhsan!

Lunch menghala ke sogo ntok aktiviti seterusnya. Walaupun mula2 nk mkn nandos, akhirnya we end up dkt fud court. Nader dan izudin mkn dim sum, aku mkn bbq honey chicken rice, yeop dan izar mkn yong tau fu and mawi mkn fried wantan. Desert mawi sponsor cake from sec. receipe.

Next activity – karoke at red box ria, sogo! The house was literally brought down with ihab’s I Don’t’ Want a Miss A Thing, Izar’s Tiara (n other rock kapak's medley), Nader menSITIkan Isabella (dan lagu2 lain), I yg trauma vocal chord, Yeop ngan lagu2 indon yg tak pernah didengari, joxer yg mnghampakan khalayak dgn tdk mnyanyikan lagu ayamnya, a bit of an Ismail Idol singing contest n nyanyian ramai2 semasa sha na na, lady marmalade, when you believe dan spice up your life! Org batuk and sakit tekak pun leh nyanyi lagu gemilang and flying without wings ngan mantapkn yemza?!

Lepas puas (berpeluh) menyanyi, sessi spt biasa, muzakkarah nak wat apa next, mngenepikn pilahan (selepas puas bersyura) ke genting dan stimboat di bangsar, kitorg pilih nak ke melaka! Yes, melaka. Kluaq dari KL dh kul 7pm.

Lepas 2 jam didalam kereta dengan nader yg hemah memandu dan ‘topic pertama’ dan ‘topic kedua’ diulang2 dibicarakan/ dibahaskan dan direcap b'ulang2, kami sampai ke stadhyust dan jonker street! Jalan2 dekat sejam lebey, ada gak yg angkut barang bwk balik! Cantikkan terompah tuh izudin?! Mawi berjaya jadi biggest shopper mlm tuh. X tau napa citer2 izar nk mkn buah2 bulat dicelup cokelat x jadi...

Dah tak tau nak makan apa, kitaorg end up berkelah ikan bakar, ikan masak 3 rasa (goreng n renjis kuah sajak), sotong goreng tepung, kailan ikan masin dan sambal mussels (apa a BM dia?) dengan nasi lemak di umbai! Topic pertama and kedua sekali lagi dibincangkan. tapi maybe sebab lapaq, mknan lincin dengan cepat. Driver pekena kopi panas la plak!

Puas makan, masa untuk end up and wrap up, so balik ler! Singgah seremban hantar izar sambil lepak2 dulu dekat A&W minum root beer float (buhsan giler minum dlm paper cup sbb after 12 diorg dh x serve dlm mug!). Nader siap mkn double mozza burger! Topik diskusi: barang2 yg perlu dibokot menurut list yg nader simpan dlm dompet dia dan diusung kemana saja! Bravo!

Balik singgah kejap kt seremban R&R solat jama’. Lepas puas diskas pasal haji, umrah ziarah n perlancongan melibatkan ibadah... (ilmiah n islamik gilerkn?!) kami smpi KL dalam pukul 3.30am. Dalam 4.10am smpi umah dan berakhirlah aktiviti kitaorg!

S&M, sori u couldn't join, hampered down by work. u'r presence and vocal talent was greatly missed!

Hmmm... buhsan x sabtuku?! tp kalu consider ngan org lain, x dak la rasa adventure mana pun...
