wlupun more attention should be put into its details(bonet keta yg kena tembak b'lubang2, di next scenenya elok, x da scratch lgsung n setem usia ratusan tahun tp kertasnya masih putih bersih)... tapi aku rasa this is still one of the best movie from m'sian cinema this year. khabir bahktiar continues to impress. sayangnya dia bkn m'sian.

with yasmin ahmad no more directing, aziz m osman muncul skali skala, othman hafsham mentioned of no projects b'tahun2 lamanya... is m'sian cinema's fate lies only in the hand of prof madya razak mohaideen n ahmad idham (and shamsul haslam)?!

went to KB for work... but came back with more kgs... feels blotted till to date. food glorious food!

1st DAY: dinner nasi kerabu, ayam percik, solok, lala bakar, sata

2nd DAY: b/fast nasi/ mee goreng lunch nasi arab (kafsah) dengan ayam kari, roti + chicken kebab tea aneka kuih muih (akok, cream puff klate, jala emas, buah tanjung, taik itik, kuih bakar n kuih mcm topi org mexico yg tdk diketahui namanya) dinner nasi, tom yam, burung merpati goreng, telor bungkus, kailan ikan masin, sotong bakar etc.

3rd DAY: b/fast nasi dagang, ikan/ ayam masak kari, sosej goreng masak sos lunch nasi, ikan keli masak sambal, terong goreng dengan ubi, dagig bakar, sotong salai, ulam ulaman etc. tea murtabak raja dinner durian, nasi, ayam masak kicap, ikan masak singgang, kari ikan, sayur goreng.

the Half Blood Prince

since a few of its last outing (esp the last one) I really felt less enjoying watching the franchise. maybe because Hermione and Ron is no longer the sidekicks at hand (their role is getting smaller n smaller) n too much focus on the love-story plot (are we trying to upstage the so ntahapapa twilight ka?). this new one also left me uncharmed as there are no more mysteries (snape declaring who he is without no tension built on that plot), less magic (too much smooching) and no more riddles to solve. moreover, what's with the dumbeldore plot? so cliche!

Departuers lived up to its accolade. a fresh script and a heart-warming storyline. definately, u'll have new found respect for this kind of 'professionals'.



Obssesed I'll definately watch whatever muvi Bee is in. her vocal talent was not explored in this movie compared to her past outings, which is something refreshing. besides than the nasty catfights between both Bee and Ali, I don't see anyu reasons for other movi goers to catch this. better project next time!



12 Monkeys another clueless 90s movie geared up with technophobic n extremes science fiction wif bruce willis n brad pitt. brad pitt worked hard for his character though...

aktiviti smlm bermula seawl 730am, ngambil wahid n rumate dia, then aliyah sblum ke umah nader. dr Dar al Kenali, UK Perdana, kami pick up laili plak. dlm 930, tiba ke destinasi dituju - Sg Gabai - berkelah. lepas cri port (yg kemudiannya diambush org2 ramai), kami mkn dulu (koay teaw sedap n nasi goreng pedas laili, ayam goreng tak tdo mlm wahida, nugget yamas n bukan ayamas serta sosej aliya n variasi minuman dr ur's truly) sblum berendam n mandi manda. then mkn2 blk pastu berendam (beraksi dpn kamera more like it) lg n makan, kemas2 n trus menuju pulang. dlm 1230 kot.

OTW, singgah mkn durian. sbb masa OTW pergi asyek t'lior je nengok durian timbun2 tepi jln. nyum2x (smpi ke mlm napas aku bau!) n cuba manggis n ngepau ayaq nyok (kelapa) nader. sdap!

aktiviti diteruskan dgn koke di Ampang Park. smpi situ dlm kul 145. persembahan dr laili menghangatkn suasana dgn aliyah cuba nk merampas takhta dgn lagu2 dangdutnya.

konsert Satu b'langsung dlm 2 jam (stat kul 9, abeh kul 11). best giler! soghe mmg power... buat aku rasamcm dia miming je the whole nite. aku rasa duit yg dibayar mcm t'lampau sdkt ntok bakat yg ditunjukkn. muzik pun besh. cuma art direction n fashion maybe patut diberi treatment yg lebey. pas konsert smua tolak2 nk amek gambo ct... aku dpt ct senyum dicelah2 manusia ja... makes me wonder, mcm manala kn idup sentiasa dibawah scrutiny of a lense?!

blk tuh lepak2 kejap dkt kopitiam di jln yap kwan seng smpi kul 1 lebey.

Setelah hampir 2 tahun merancang (kali terakhir July 2007) persiapan secara serius bermula lewat Mac 2009. Di sebalik drama mereka2 yg gagal mengkompemkn kehadiran, the 7 of us berjaya juga b’kumpul di Cherating. Setelah jenuh memilih, program dinamai Santai ’09 slepas cdgn2 setaraf kertas kerja kementerian pendidikan yg lain ditolak para AJK!

perjalanan bermula seawal maghrib(lepas kerja), berkumpul n mkn2 di Sakura Kristal, Tmn Melawati smbl menunggu Joxer hadir. Tido sepantas kilat di UK Perdana untuk ‘road trip’ keesokannya.

Seawal subuh semua mata telah celik. Perjalanan menelusuri Lebuhraya Pantai Timur dengan perhentian di R&R Temerloh membawa kami terus ke Cherating, Pahang. Berjumpa Nordin di Chukai, Terengganu, kami lunch di sapa bayu laut membahang di public beach Cherating.

Sebaik check-in, bilek dibahagi2 dan terus perasmian di jalankn. Dengan ucapan perasmian berserta perlancaran logo SANTAI 09, pengagihan tag peserta (yg direka Izar), pemberian ‘door gift’ dan persembahan mantap dr Yemza hari pantas merangkak ke petang. Terjun sejenak ke kolam dan menghayati bayu laut petang sblum aktiviti malam. Fiesta makanan laut utk dinner disusuli menjengah ke Turtle Sanctuary dgn harapan boleh melihat penyu bertelur. Tiada, terus bergerak ke Teluk Mak Nik (Monica’s Bay) kerana ada perkhabaran yg sampi, penyu menetas di sana. Hampa, pulang bermain kad ke larut malam sebelum tidur kepenatan.

Hari ke-2 bermula dengan aktiviti pantai (beach volley n mandi manda di Laut China Selatan). Kemudian terjun pula ke kolam sambil bergambar meriah (pasti Mangga berebut to get hands on the pics 4 their cover for their next issue)!

Makan tengahari sederhana dimulakan dengan kopok lekor 2 pinggan (Jhu & Jhi) dan b’kopi di Kopitiam Hai Peng (bukan Chin Peng, please take note), Chukai (antara Kopitiam ternama di Pantai Timur). Jelajah Jln2 Cri Mkn membawa kami ke Kijal utk merasa keenakan ‘mknan dlm buloh’ (lemang), sata n otak2 (rugi x mencuba kalu ke sana). Pulang singgah ke Turtle sanctuary sekali lagi dan hampa kerana penyu bertelur subuh td, santak hingga ke pukul 8 bru turun ke laut (penyu mngambil masa 3 jam ntok naik ke darat b’telor sebelum pulang semula ke laut). Singgah sebentar di public beach Cherating ntok souvenir shopping. Kenduri di hotel (dgn local food) dan berendam buat sebentar (sementelah ada yg mngambil peluang ntok berehat di bilik) di jacuzzi hotel.

Maghrib mnyaksikn kami mudik sungai cherating menyaksikn kunang2. Indah! Mkn mlm di (restoran masin) Pantai Balok, Pahang dan pulang beristirehat di bilek (tgk TV, borak2 n main kad).

Kerana kecewa dan mngharap ada penyu b’subuh di pantai, kami berkejaran ke Turtle Sanctuary seawal 7 pagi. Namun nasib tetap tdk mnyebelahi kami. Hanya ank penyu mlm pertama disitu sahaja yang mengalukan kedatangan kami sepanjang disana. Breakfast nasi dagang. Segmen hati ke hati menyaksikn pertukaran hadiah sesame peserta. Tahniah Yeop kerana t’pilih untuk mngepalai reunion akn dtg! Ke Borneo mungkin?! Last minit shopping sblum masing2 pulang. Tiba di KL lewat maghrib kerana jam di highway. Terima kasih Nader kerana setia memandu.

Post-event
Disebalik arahan yg dtg kiri kanan n masing2 mngikut kepala sendiri (pada waktu2nya) semua selamat pergi n pulang dan hanya kenangan indah yang b’sisa. Moga 10 tahun ini mngukuhkn tali persahabatan kita. INNOOOYYYINNNGGG!!!!

sam raimi is definately in his own league. eerie yet ridiculous at time. can't really say much, i peep through my pocorn box hole most of the time. ha ha ha!

last thursday nite, sec 14, PJ was erupted by the collapse of the Jaya Supermarket, one of its long standing signature. the supermarket really is nostalgic as it is the closest haven to all IIU matric's student back during my days... the nearest lepak place. for more info/ pics, click here. search for survivors are now still in progress.

at the other end of KL, JJ wgsa maju, another eruption occured yesterday. this time is due to the J card sale! this is my 2nd xperience in such sale which commands many working wives taking leaves in its dedication. looking back at the my whole period there, it made me wonder whether the recession has any effect on us m'sian?! on the same note, many are contemplating at flockin' to s'pore for it grand sale this month... hmmm... JJ wgsa maju is, peculiarly, the closest haven for IIU Gombak's student.
