To those who are familiar with the Three Kingdom’s epic tale, you may enjoy more as this story, like Red Cliff, delve right into the debacles between Chao Chao and Liu Bie with his general. This is the story, of one of Liu Bie’s brother/ general, Guan Fu, portrayed by the dashing Donnie Chen. Having said that, actions lover may still enjoy the sword swinging action the movie has.
This was a straight movie story, unlike the other Chinese epic movie, which besides than giving plot twists also pays attention to the costumes and its props.
Go watch this if you are an avid fan of Donnie, a lover of the tale or simply because you enjoy seeing people’s head gets chopped off!
